Stop Moisture Before it Damages Your Home
Your crawl space shares air with your living areas. If it’s damp, dirty, or moldy down there, you’re breathing it up here.
Poor Air Quality
Musty odors and damp air coming into the house, triggering allergies and asthma.
Structural Risk
Condensation leads to mold growth and wood rot, compromising your floors.
Standing Water
Puddles after heavy rain that never seem to dry out, attracting pests.
Encapsulation Done Right
We don’t just throw plastic on the dirt. We completely isolate your home from the earth, stopping moisture vapor in its tracks.
- Thick, durable liner: 12-20 mil reinforced vapor barrier on floors and walls.
- Sealed seams: Fully taped and sealed to prevent any vapor bypass.
- Vent sealing: Blocking outside humid air from entering the space.
Active Humidity Control
Once sealed, the space needs conditioning. Our commercial-grade dehumidifiers keep humidity below the mold-growth threshold (60%).
- Properly sized units: Matched exactly to your crawl space cubic footage.
- Auto-drainage: Plumbed directly to the outside or a sump pump.
- Energy efficient: Uses less power than household units.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know about our process.
Do you service my area?
Yes, we serve the entire Upstate of South Carolina, including Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and surrounding communities. If you’re unsure, just give us a call.
Is crawl space moisture really affecting my indoor air?
Yes. Due to the “stack effect,” up to 50% of the air on your first floor comes directly from your crawl space. If there is mold or high humidity down there, you are breathing it inside.
What's included in encapsulation?
A true encapsulation includes clearing debris, laying a heavy-duty vapor barrier on the floor and walls, sealing all seams with waterproof tape, and sealing outside vents to stop humid air from entering.
How long does the job take?
Most residential encapsulation projects take between 2 to 4 days, depending on the size of the home and the amount of preparation or clean-out required.
Will this stop the musty smell?
Absolutely. The musty smell is caused by mold and mildew off-gassing. By cutting off the moisture source and lowering humidity, the mold goes dormant and the smell disappears.
